Now Democrats are seeing Russian spies everywhere

In the latest sign of how unhinged Democrats have gotten in the Trump era, longtime Democratic National Committee member Bob Mulholland accused grassroots activist Selina Vickers of being a Russian spy.

Vickers, a West Virginian who supported Bernie Sanders in 2016, has been attending DNC meetings as an observer on her own time. Specifically, she’s focused on the endless debate on reforming the party’s presidential primaries — whose rules, many argue, favor the bosses.

Mulholland noticed her, asked questions and learned she’d voted for Green prez nominee Jill Stein in 2016. And since Stein attended a 2015 Moscow dinner with Vladimir Putin — well, what more proof do you need?

Mulholland admits he has none, but told The Washington Post that he’s still suspicious — noting that, after all, the FBI infiltrated the anti-Vietnam War movement. So there.

Meanwhile, the DNC seems bent on ensuring that Sanders, a proud Socialist, can’t jump into the 2020 race: Last week, it passed a rule banning “non-Democrats” from entering its presidential contests.

As best we can tell, though, the party still hasn’t found any rules changes to stop it from choosing another nominee as disastrously awful as Hillary Clinton.
