ISIS sympathizer admits he called for attacks on Prince George

An ISIS sympathizer pleaded guilty Thursday to encouraging terrorists to attack Prince George, saying “even the royal family will not be left alone.”

Husnain Rashid posted more than 300,000 propaganda messages online last year urging attackers to target the 4-year-old heir to the throne at his school in Battersea, southwest London, the Guardian reported.

In October, he posted a picture of the school with silhouettes of two jihadi fighters and another message listing the school’s address and the caption: “Even the royal family will not be left alone. School starts early.”

Rashid, 32, from Nelson, England, copped to three counts of engaging in conduct in preparation for terrorism and one count of encouraging terrorism midway through his criminal trial in Woolwich Crown Court.

He faces up to life in prison at his sentencing June 28.

“For the past week I have listened to the most disturbing allegations … It is inevitable that you will receive a very lengthy prison sentence and there will be a consideration of a life prison sentence,” said Judge Andrew Lees. “The question of your future dangerousness and the protection of the public is a matter that I will have to give very careful consideration.”

Prosecutors said in November 2017, Rashid posted a street map of Sixth Avenue in Manhattan with the caption, “New York Halloween Parade. Have you made your preparations? The Countdown begins.”

Rashid also called for attacks at soccer stadiums in the UK, the 2017 general election, Wimbledon, the Trafford Centre in Manchester and BBC Proms in the Park. He suggested a variety of methods, such as injecting cyanide into fruit and veggies at grocery stores and poisoning ice cream.
