‘Peppa Pig’ star ‘snorts and does lines’ — but it’s not what you think

Peppa Pig likes to party!

Or so you’d think, if you caught 16-year-old actress Harley Bird on the British talk show “The Morning” on Wednesday.

According to the Sun, Bird, who voices the eponymous swine on kids’ show “Peppa Pig,” recounted a visit to the UK’s Peppa Pig World theme park.

There, she told the hosts, she sometimes “snorts and does lines.”

Bird was referring to making pig sounds and reciting lines from the show.

But viewers of “The Morning” did not take her comment that way.

One wiseguy tweeted, “Peppa Pig just admitted she enjoys a sesh,” or a session of doing drugs.

Another commented, “Snorting, doing some lines . . . Peppa isn’t so innocent anymore is she haha!”

Bird is not the first voice-over artist for whom a verbal gaffe was way off-brand. Back in 2011, Gilbert Gottfried lost his sweet gig with Aflac (he voiced the duck) after tweeting an offensive joke about the tsunami that hit Japan.

But Harley’s misstatement probably tickled a cooler demographic — and hopefully she won’t get sacked for her (apparent) naïveté.

Who knows, maybe her off-color comment will draw a flurry of new viewers. Maybe ratings will reach an all-time high?
