New rooftop bar with city views coming to Jersey City
A new rooftop cocktail bar overlooking the Manhattan skyline is coming to Jersey City this month.
The Rooftop at Exchange Place will sit on top of Hyatt House, with a design that includes “disappearing” glass walls, an island bar, “water and fire” features and lots of greenery.
The 10,000-square-foot space, which seats 300 people, features a retractable roof that cements its place as a year-round destination. Evenings will also feature live entertainment and DJs, as guests look out to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
The bar will also serve lunch and weekend brunch as well dinner, bar bites and craft cocktails.
That’s in addition to the Terrace, one floor below, which seats 150 people, and opened in December.
