Really — the custom-built, cagelike venue, situated across from the Eiffel Tower, was strung through with glittering lights.
Also glittering: High-wattage, front-row celebs, including Kate Moss, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Zoë Kravitz took in the show, which started promptly on time at 8 p.m.
Models strutted the runway in designer Anthony Vaccarello’s over-the-top looks, including skintight threads, shoulder-grazing fish-scale earrings, stilettos sprouting furry mohawks and dramatic, wide-brimmed hats.
The show closed with a parade of sparkly dresses stacked with the newly ubiquitous shoulder pads. (The ’80s are back, didja hear?)
