Brute kicked pregnant woman in stomach over $2: cops

Police in Philadelphia are searching for a brute who they say kicked a pregnant woman in the stomach after she refused to give him $2.

The victim, a 33-year-old woman who is five months pregnant, was standing outside a Dunkin’ Donuts at 10th and Arch streets in Center City when the suspect approached her at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday and asked for money, police said.

The suspect then kicked the woman in the stomach after she told him she didn’t have any money. She was taken to Hahnemann Hospital for treatment. Her condition was unclear.

The suspect was described by police as about 20 years old with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black sweatpants, black sneakers and a black jacket.

“If you see this suspect do not approach, contact 911 immediately,” according to a description of the suspect provided by the Philadelphia police.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call investigators at (215) 686-8477.
