Swindler busted for stealing $30K wedding ring

A swindler who stole a Manhattan actress’ $30,000 wedding ring and other jewels after going home with the woman’s husband was busted for the crime nearly seven months later, police said.

Alma Fooks, 40, met Jean Pierre Henderson, 37, at East 51st Street and Beekman Place last July 19 and accompanied him back to his nearby apartment, cops said.

When Fooks left about an hour later around midnight, Henderson noticed the missing jewelry, a police source said at the time.

Not only had the Newark woman made off with the wife’s $30,000 wedding ring, she also took a $17,000 Rolex watch, $2,000 worth of gold bangles, an opal ring worth $1,000 and a cell phone, according to the source.

Fooks was busted Wednesday and charged with grand larceny. She is expected to appear before a judge Thursday.

Henderson’s wife, Odette Warder Henderson, has appeared in TV drama series such as “Shades of Blue” and “Billions.”
