Suspects identified in Times Square hit-and-run on NYPD cop

Police have identified two men wanted for questioning in the hit-and-run of an NYPD officer in Times Square late Saturday.

Authorities are looking to grill Arfhy Santos, 20, and William Lopez, 24, for the incident — in which the officer was hit and carried on the hood of a black Mercedes-Benz C63 after he tried stopping the reckless driver.

Video of the incident shows the sedan driving so fast, its tires were smoking. When the officer — identified by a source as 26-year-old Ian Wallace — stopped and approached the car, the driver clipped him and sped off, authorities said.

Wallace is seen being carried on the hood of the car for several feet before he falls to the ground as the car screeches away.

“Get that car!” the thrown officer can be heard saying in the video.

The Benz kept going, traveling west on West 42nd Street and hitting several cars as it rushed away. Police have not yet arrested the hit-and-run driver.

Wallace suffered minor injuries to his right leg and hip, chest, arms and back. He was taken to Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s hospital.
