Robber holds up bodega for a measly bag of Cheetos

A cheesy bandit tried using fake money to buy some grub at a Brooklyn bodega, threatened to “blow” the store clerk’s “head off” when he was rebuffed — and then ran off with nothing but a bag of Cheetos, cops said on Friday.

“Try and do something and I’ll blow your head off!” the man told the worker at Rockaway Fruits and Vegetables on Rockaway Boulevard in Brownsville around 7 a.m. on Dec. 31, after being caught paying with a fake $50 bill and pulling out a black gun.

With no success, he grabbed a bag of Cheetos from the counter and left, police said.

Police released video of the altercation between the clerk and the man — dressed in a black and white hooded sweatshirt and a black hat. He is described as 6 feet tall, approximately 180 pounds, in his mid-20s and with close-cut black hair and a beard.
