A Navy combat medic was arrested when cops pulled him over in Manhattan Tuesday and found a small cache of weapons in his car, officials said.
Tennessee resident Jon Doliana, 31, was stopped after he made an illegal left turn and started driving the wrong way down 8th Avenue near Times Square around 6 p.m.
When Doliana stepped out of the car, the officers noticed a large knife strapped to his leg, police said.
When they asked if he was carrying any other weapons, the veteran told them he had three handguns in the car that he is legally permitted to carry in his home state.
Doliana was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon and making an improper left turn, police said.
