A 16-year-old boy was shot dead outside a Sweet 16 party at a Bronx catering hall early Thursday, police said.
Sincear Williams was outside Maestro’s Caterers on Bronxdale Avenue near Kinsella Street in East Bronx around 12:25 a.m. when he was shot in the neck during a dispute, cops said. He was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A 17-year-old boy was shot in the arm and taken to the same hospital in stable condition.
Guests were filing out of the party when shots were fired, WPIX/Channel 11 reported. It wasn’t clear whether the victims had attended the party or if they knew each other or the gunman.
The shooter took off in a dark-colored Honda. No arrests have been made.
