Here’s where Harvey Keitel is house hunting in NYC

Actor and producer Harvey Keitel has long been associated with the streets of New York in films including Martin Scorsese’s “Mean Streets” and “Taxi Driver.”

So it only seems fitting that Keitel has been hitting the streets of the Upper West Side to eye two condos at 101 W. 78th St., a rental-to-condo conversion across from the American Museum of Natural History.

The first unit he checked out, 6C, is asking $8.99 million. That apartment is a three-bedroom duplex measuring 3,543 square feet. It comes with a chef’s kitchen and large bay windows.

Keitel also scoped out a fifth-floor unit that’s for sale for $12.69 million. That four-bedroom spread is 4,820 square feet — and comes with a 37-foot-long corner living room with a gas fireplace and a formal dining room.

While Keitel did not look at 101 W. 78th St.’s penthouse, which was asking $23.5 million, it just went into contract. That 4,742-square-foot unit has four bedrooms, a 3,398-square-foot wraparound terrace and a 2,700-square-foot roof deck.

Building amenities include a gym, a children’s playroom and bike storage.

The brokers for all three units are a mother-daughter team, Anne S. Young and Amanda J. Young, with Brown Harris Stevens.
