Sarah Palin’s son charged with burglary, assault

The eldest son of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin was arrested on domestic abuse charges Saturday.

Cops collared Track Palin, 28, in Wasilla, Alaska, and he was charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief during a Sunday arraignment in state court, according to court documents.

It was not clear whether he entered a plea.

The felony charge suggests Track may have injured or tried to injure someone during the alleged burglary, the LA Times reported.

Court records did not list an attorney or indicate Track’s bail status. He was still being held at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer on Sunday afternoon following the arraignment, a state corrections department spokeswoman said.

Track was arrested in January 2016 after a girlfriend accused him of punching her and pointing a gun at her amid a domestic dispute, but he took a deal where he only pleaded to possessing a firearm while drunk.

Track reportedly got into a drunken brawl at a house party in 2014, but no charges were filed against him for the melee.
