Sushi by Bou opens new restaurant in Jue Lan Club

Sushi by Bou has launched its latest outpost inside the Jue Lan Club.

The 30-minute omakase experience, from two talented young chefs and rising stars, features a signature 12-piece, $50 meal by sushi chef/owner David Bouhadana, and restaurateurs Michael
Sinensky and Erika London.

The first location, at the Gansevoort Market, has eight seats but no liquor license. It then opened in The Sanctuary Hotel in Midtown, with eight seats and a bar.

The new restaurant at Jue Lan Club, at 49 W. 20th St. in Chelsea — the space that formerly housed the Limelight — has ten seats and a bar. It also features a second experience, from Chef Oona Tempest: a 90-minute, $100-omakase Sushi by Bae.

Four more locations are slated to open next year. The concept is to find “underutilized spaces” and to reinvent them, a spokesperson said.
