Assistant principal allegedly a serial sexual harasser: report

A city assistant principal was a serial sexual harasser of students, investigators say.

Georges Mathieu, of Manhattan Bridges HS in Hell’s Kitchen, pestered three girls to take him as a “boyfriend,” the Special Commissioner of Investigation says in a report.

One 17-year-old said Mathieu, 54, led her into a storage closet, then kissed her lips and said, “Let’s break the ice,” the report alleges.

Mathieu allegedly showed up at her classes and asked for her phone number and work address. He promised to be “a good boyfriend.”

The girl secretly recorded Mathieu in a school hall.

“My philosophy is this — if you think it’s good, go for it,” he says in the tape, published by The Post in June.

Another 17-year-old said he told her she “needed a new boyfriend” — him. When she said no, Mathieu allegedly promised to “buy her anything she wanted.”

He also allegedly asked a 20-year-old student, “When are you going out with me?”

Mathieu has denied kissing the teen or offering to buy things. He claimed “good intentions” in telling girls to leave their boyfriends.

Mathieu, who made $147,826 including overtime last school year, was removed from school pending a hearing.
