Lingerie model-turned-teacher settles suit over racy photos

Tiffani Webb

Her lawsuit has gone bust.

A gorgeous Manhattan high-school guidance counselor sued the Department of Education in 2012 for giving her a pink slip after photos showing her modeling sexy undies popped up on the Internet.

Tiffani Webb, a lingerie model before joining the city school system in 1999, sued for reinstatement, back pay — and $2 million in damages.

But after a five-year court fight, Webb, 41, has abruptly settled for a measly $70,000, including lawyer fees. The sum is less than her last city salary of $84,200.

What’s more, the DOE did not admit any wrongdoing in firing Webb, a highly-regarded counselor at Murry Bergtraum HS, for “conduct unbecoming” of her position.

Webb and her lawyer, Stewart Karlin, refused to comment.

But court papers show the DOE was poised to attack Webb’s claim that she had nothing to do with steamy shots from her modeling days resurfacing.

City lawyers dug up a release Webb signed in 2007 — while she was working as a city educator — giving unrestricted rights to her images to a magazine featuring scantily clad women. Webb also admitted giving a phone interview for a January 2009 “spread” in SHOW Magazine.

“I was upset,” Webb said in a deposition, adding that her images also appeared on the sleazy Web site Show Girlz Exclusive. “I did not want to be published in this type of magazine.”

While working at Murry Bergtraum, Webb also moonlighted as the host of “Girl Talk NYC,” videos posted on YouTube in 2009, where she discussed beauty, dating, and pop stars. The videos drew some comments from shocked students.

“OMG Ms. Webb!! she was a guidance counselor at my high school. Wowww,” one wrote.

The DOE argued that Webb’s racy photos “would be a distraction” to both kids and fellow staffers.

“The students were aware that she was a bikini model,” a former Murry Bergtraum teacher recalled. “I don’t think anyone thought she was doing porn, but it raised eyebrows a bit.”

Webb, who changed her name and teaches at a New Jersey elementary school, has continued to post sexy selfies on social media.
