The fashion world is finally paying attention to Leslie Jones

She may not be sample size, but Leslie Jones is finally fitting in with the fashion world.

Jones, who’s nominated for a Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Emmy, shimmered on the award show’s red carpet Sunday in a black, sequined Christian Siriano gown. But Jones claims she had trouble finding anyone to dress her as recently as last year.

“It’s so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for [my] movie,” Jones — who’s a size 10 — tweeted in June 2016. “Hmmm. That will change, and I remember everything.”

Siriano — a self-professed fan of Jones — tweeted back at her within an hour with a raising-hand emoji. One month later, Jones showed up to the “Ghostbusters” premiere in a regal scarlet dress by the 31-year-old designer.

Siriano’s social outreach clearly won him brownie points with Jones. Beyond wearing his gowns to two high-profile events to date, the “Saturday Night Live” star was famously left breathless — and likely voiceless — by Siriano’s New York Fashion Week show earlier this month. There, Jones loudly cheered his line and models from the front row (“I love you! Yaaas!”).

Jones isn’t the only celeb to feel snubbed by the fashion world over her dress size. Tonight on the red carpet, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” star Rachel Bloom told E! that she had to purchase her Emmy gown — a lacy Gucci number, worth $3,500 — herself, because the Italian fashion house wouldn’t send her one.

“It’s hard to get places to lend to me because I’m not a size zero, but also I can afford it, so it’s OK,” she says.
