SJP named a shoe after me and now we’re sole mates

It’s every woman’s dream to have a shoe named after them.

Anahita Moussavian wears the “Anahita” shoes by Sarah Jessica Parker with the “Heloise” dress (similar styles $525) and “Abella” skirt (similar styles $495) from Cinq à Sept.Annie Wermiel

So imagine my shock when I discovered that the ultimate shoe gal, Sarah Jessica Parker, had named a sparkly brogue heel after me.

SJP’s “Anahita” — $395 at NeimanMarcus.com — landed in stores and on Web sites last week. And its eye-popping rainbow glitter hue is a perfect match for my signature style.

I had briefly met Parker twice over the years — we were both raised in Cincinnati and visited the same local haunts. I’ve also been a longtime fan of Carrie Bradshaw’s style. In spring 2016, @sjpcollection and @sarahjessicaparker started following me on Instagram, and an Insta-friendship was born.

Then, during February’s Fashion Week, Vogue.com ran an article entitled, “Sarah Jessica Parker Has a Cinderella-Worthy Shoe Moment on the Front Row.”

There was a photo of Parker sauntering out of the Calvin Klein show in a breathtaking shoe — which they called Anahita.

Could it be? Did she name a shoe for me?

Less than a day later, I was shocked when they confirmed my wildest dream.

If you follow me on Instagram @anahitaglitters, you’ll know that I can’t get enough of feminine tutus, glittery headpieces and romantic lace dresses — often balanced out with elements of playful sportiness.

SJP’s shoe is the perfect distillation of my style: The block heel is the perfect height, and the special silhouette is a reflection of my personal motto: to stay true to your sparkly self.
