Pulse nightclub reopening at different location

The Florida nightclub that was the site of the worst mass shooting in modern US history will reopen in a new location, according to new reports.

The owner of Orlando’s Pulse, where terrorist Omar Mateen opened fire and slaughtered 49 people last June, says she’s actively searching for another place in the city to rebuild the gay dance club.

“By reopening it, same name, same format that we had, it just proves, you know, that hate will not win,” owner Barbara Poma told WFTV 9. “We will not let him win.”

The original Pulse site will be turned into a memorial to the victims.

Poma said she still returns there twice a week.

“Some days, I can go to clean, (bring) flowers, candles,” she told the news network. “If I don’t go, I get anxious.”
