Durst ‘possibly’ wrote letter identifying corpse location: close friend

A close friend of eccentric millionaire Robert Durst admitted in court Wednesday that it’s “possible” Durst wrote an incriminating letter that told police where a corpse was located.

Durst’s lawyer and high-school pal Stewart Altman was presented with the infamous “cadaver note” featured on the HBO documentary “The Jinx.”

The note, sent to the Beverly Hills police, simply listed the address of Durst acquaintance Susan Berman with the word “cadaver.”

When asked by LA Deputy District Attorney John Lewin if the letter appears to bear Durst’s writing, Altman replied, “It’s possible.”

Durst himself was presented with the cadaver note during the HBO doc and said it was “a note to the police that only the killer could have written.”
