UFC billionaire scores $70M penthouse knockout

Las Vegas-based billionaire Frank Fertitta is the secret buyer of a $70 million penthouse at 520 Park Ave., Gimme Shelter has exclusively learned.

Fertitta — who has a net worth of $1.98 billion, according to Forbes — and his brother, Lorenzo, sold their lucrative Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts company for $4 billion last year to an investment group headed by WME/IMG.

Not bad, considering they bought it for $2 million in 2001.

His new pad is also quite the score.

The six-bedroom duplex— one of the priciest apartments in 520 Park, the blue-chip 54-story condo tower currently under construction at East 60th Street — runs a sprawling 9,138 square feet and comes with 279 square feet of exterior space.

The building, designed by Robert A.M. Stern and developed by a Zeckendorf-led team, will have 34 residences: 23 simplex condos, six simplex penthouses, four penthouses duplexes (one is Fertitta’s) and one triplex crowning them all.

“He looked all over the city, at all the top buildings, before buying here,” a source close to the deal says.
