Victor Cruz’s salsa dance the highlight of Mitch Trubisky show

Victor Cruz performed his first salsa dance in Chicago.

The popular former Giant — who helped lead the team to a Super Bowl title in the 2011 season — caught a 2-yard touchdown pass from Mitch Trubisky in the Bears’ 24-17 preseason loss to the Broncos on Thursday night.

Trubisky, the Bears prized first round pick, had an impressive NFL debut, completing 18 of 25 passes for 166 yards. He was on the field for all of the Bears points.

Though Bears starter Mike Glennon (2 of 8, 20 yards) struggled in his limited action, coach John Fox was not about to entertain any talk of a quarterback controversy.

“Our depth chart is not going to change after one game, particularly a preseason game,” coach John Fox said. “That’s a really good defense our first unit went against, probably one of the top three defenses in the league.

“You have to look at a lot of different things. I can understand how you guys might think, but we’re not going to change a whole lot after one game.”

As for Cruz, he finished with three catches for 11 yards.
