Michael Vick’s wife refused sex after Kaepernick comments

Michael Vick’s mouth cost him “the booty.”

The retired quarterback recently made questionable remarks about Colin Kaepernick remaining unsigned because of his hair, which didn’t fly with Vick’s wife, Kijafa, it was revealed in a preview of VH1’s “Baller Wives.”

“Why does he have to change his hair for him to get a job?” Kijafa pressed Vick, who said he was looking at Kaepernick’s Afro from a style point of view.

Though Vick understood he screwed up, Kijafa insisted on a punishment.

“You know what you gonna be banned from this week? Banned from the bedroom,” she said.

Vick, 37, came under fire last month following an appearance on Fox Sports, in which he attributed Kaepernick’s unemployment to his current hairstyle.

“First thing we’ve got to get Colin to do is cut his hair,” Vick said. “Listen, I’m not up here to try to be politically correct. Even if he puts cornrows in there. I don’t think he should represent himself in that way in terms of just the hairstyle. Just go clean-cut. You know, why not? You’re already dealing with a lot of controversy surrounding this issue. The most important thing that he needs to do is just try to be presentable.”

Kijafa also expressed her displeasure about Vick being back in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

“It’s just not no fun having you, you know, in the media again for negative things. It just scares me,” Kijafa said. “It makes me relive a part of our life that I’d just like to put in the past.”

Vick was indicted on federal felony charges in July 2007 for operating a dogfighting ring known as “Bad Newz Kennels.” He served nearly two years in prison as a result.

The couple have been married since June 2012.
