Cops searching for man who jumped off George Washington Bridge

A man jumped from the George Washington Bridge early Monday, and police have not located his body, officials said.

The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, was seen by witnesses leaping over the railing of the bridge’s south walkway at around 3:40 a.m., according to the NYPD and Port Authority police.

The man landed in the water, but investigators were not able to find his body as of Monday evening.

He is the fourth person to jump from the bridge in less than a month.

Officials believe troubled Brooklyn singer Lael Feldman ended her life by leaping from the span July 31.

Her corpse was later discovered floating near the rocks in Spuyten Duyvil Creek off the northern tip of Inwood.

Her mother said Feldman had a history of suicide attempts.
