This creepy clue could be the key to finding an attempted rapist

The sicko who attempted to sexually assault four women in Crown Heights last week left a creepy clue with his final victim – a skull ring that fell off during the attack, police said Thursday.

Investigators revealed a photo of the metal ring, which the 32-year-old victim said slipped off his hand as he grabbed her in her apartment building at Dean Street and Nostrand Avenue.

All of the attacks occurred within five blocks of the Brooklyn Children’s Museum – late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning of last week.

In the first, at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, the man confronted a 22-year-old woman in the hallway of her apartment building at Pacific Street and Nostrand Avenue. He placed his hand over her mouth and press her against a wall, touched her privates and demanded sex. She screamed and fought him off.

He fled. Then just over an hour later, he followed a 29-year-old woman into her building at St. Marks and New York avenues. He covered her mouth and wrapped his other arm around her body, but she too managed to break free.

Then at 2:30 a.m., he shadowed another 22-year-old into her building. When she unlocked her door, he shoved her to the ground. He said he had a knife and threatened to kill her. He tried to sexually assault her, but she kicked him and sprayed him with mace, police said.

An hour later, he attacked the 32-year-old in her building. He grabbed her when she stepped off the elevator and covered her mouth. She escaped his grasp and he fled, leaving behind the ring.

Police released a photo of the ring and the suspect at one of the attack scenes, wearing a black t-shirt stating “F–k You, You F—kin’ F–k.”
