Stitches: Sushi and the Banshees

Ordered Sushi for dinner last night. Cracked it open about 6 p.m. to watch the Belmont only to find out my pick, Epicharis, already was on a flight back to Japan. Foot elevated, I’m sure, due to an abscess. Scratch left us scratching at the sushi, which eventually ended up in the trash.

About a half-hour later, the pepperoni pizza arrived. Elevated my feet and turned on the Indians, hoping they would pick up the bill for my Japanese/Italian dinner. No way, Ke-mo sah-bee. Tribe lost 5-3 to the Chisox, and it wasn’t that close as they were out-hit 14-5. Pepperoni was tough to digest as our account took a huge drop to 2,181 bafferts.

Doubling down today. Chris Archer goes for Tampa Bay. Last-place A’s are in the house. 10 units on the Rays. And 10 units on the Cubs as they try and salvage the final game of their lost weekend with the Rockies. Jake Arrieta on the Wrigley hill, where he has pitched well.
