Don’t get used to the summer weather

This is your last chance to soak up the unseasonably sizzling weather that has gripped Gotham, as more spring-like temperatures are expected to roll in over the weekend.

The mercury is predicted to hit 90 degrees on Friday, with humidity that will make it feel more like 96.

The high should come at about 1 p.m. before a rapid cool-off brings temperatures down to the low 60s overnight into Saturday morning.

“It’ll be sticky and warm for one more day,” AccuWeather meteorologist Bob Smerbeck said.

“But by late [Friday] afternoon it should start cooling down and you’ll get some more refreshing air,” he added.

Relief comes to New York on Saturday when the mercury tops out at a more May-like 70 degrees, before a Sunday high of 67 degrees.

Sunny skies and lack of wind will still make it feel a little warmer than the actual temps on Saturday and Sunday.

The long-range forecast also looks cooler, with no days expected to reach 80 degrees for the rest of May.

“We don’t anticipate the kind of heat we’ve gone through,” Smerbeck said. “We don’t see that the rest of the month.”
