Two men were hurt when an escalator malfunctioned at the World Trade Center station’s Oculus hub Thursday, officials said.
The incident happened around 7:20 a.m. when part of the escalator appeared to “buckle,” according to sources.
Two men who were riding the escalator were hurt and suffered minor injuries. They were able to walk to an ambulance just outside the station for treatment.
The cause of the accident in unknown.
The escalator is the same one where a 29-year-old woman fell to her death last February.
