Trump praises ‘great meeting’ with one-time critic Condi Rice

President Trump met with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Friday, a sign of thaw between the two after a war of words during the 2016 campaign.

“Great meeting with a wonderful woman today, former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice! #USA,” Trump tweeted while posting a photo of the smiling duo.

After a 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape showed Trump bragging about grabbing women without consent, Rice, who served under President George W. Bush, said, “Enough!”

“Donald Trump should not be president. He should withdraw,” she said in October.

Trump, for his part, was an outspoken critic of Bush’s Iraq War and in 2006 called Rice a “bitch.”

But it was all diplomatic lovey-dovey on Friday.
