Brooklyn blaze leaves 3 critically injured

A blaze tore through a building in Brooklyn Thursday night, leaving three people critically injured, officials said.

The fire started in the building on East 26th Street in Flatbush at around 9:30 p.m. and firefighters battled the flames for more than an hour.

“Smoke was coming out of the third floor so we ran and got out,” witness Diane Ramos said.

“I know one was hurt real bad. There was blood all over and The firemen were working on the person.

The injured were taken to Kings County Medical Center where they were recovering early Friday morning.
