Crazed shooter doesn’t stop this couple from getting married

Even a gunman hellbent on revenge wasn’t enough to stop this Brazilian couple’s special day.

Startling new video shows the moment the portly shooter opened fire during the unnamed couple’s ceremony inside a church in Limoeiro de Anadia, in the Brazilian state of Alagoas.

The footage shows the bride and groom walking down the aisle to the sounds of church hymns, as a polo shirt-wearing man, identified by local media as Umberto Ferreira dos Santos, whips out a handgun as he enters a pew, firing at least five times.

Three people were injured, including father and son Cícero Barbosa da Silva, 62, and Edmilson Bezerra da Silva, 37, who were there to serve as witnesses during the Saturday afternoon nuptials Edmilson’s wife was also grazed by a bullet.

After the injured were taken to an area hospital, the wedding continued.

Police believe the gunman was seeking revenge for the recent killing of his son, for which Edmilson was reportedly the main suspect, according to Why4News.com.

The accused shooter fled the scene and no arrests have been made.
