A new patisserie in the Flatiron District promises to give new meaning to the term, “dessert bar.”
Patisserie Chanson, from talented London-born Chef Rory Macdonald, is set to open this winter at 20 W. 23rd St.
The patisserie plans to serve up coffee, pastries, lunch and afternoon tea.
The downstairs space, however, will be a true dessert bar with craft cocktails by night.
Not surprising, since chef Macdonald made his name as Michelin-starred Hakkasan’s executive pastry chef.
