Two inches of snow could fall in the city on Saturday

Up to two inches of snow could fall in the city on Saturday, the Big Apple��s first measurable powder of the season, thanks to Winter Storm Decima.

“Take a picture of it while it’s here, because all the snow will be gone by Sunday,” said senior AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines.

The snow will turn to rain by Saturday afternoon, causing “tricky” conditions on the roads, Kines said.

Temps will bounce back to above-normal Sunday, nearing 60 degrees.

There will be a brief cool-down Monday and Tuesday, though it will be nothing compared to the current cold snap and its zero-degree wind chills.

The mercury should climb back to the normal high of 40 by Wednesday.

As for the holidays, “odds favor a green Christmas,” Kines said
