Lady Gaga’s long been known for her flair for the dramatic — meat dress, anyone? — but her recent sartorial choices show that she’s anything but predictable.
En route Monday to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris, Gaga looked pretty in pink in a tuxedo dress by the Russian designer Valentin Yudashkin. Since Yudashkin tends to embellish his haute couture designs to the max with jewels, feathers and other frills, the dress the singer wore seems relatively austere.
Gaga brightened things up with a dainty pink bag and pointy-toed Casadei pumps. Of course, the outfit wouldn’t be complete without a pair of feathery Pierre Mantoux ankle socks, because convention be damned!
