Sweden’s Princess Madeleine gets rid of her UES pad

Sweden’s Princess Madeleine has sold her royal Upper East Side digs.

The asking price for the one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit at The Touraine, located at 132 E. 65th St., was $1.99 million. Princess Madeleine, formerly known as the “party princess,” bought the unit in 2013 for $1.87 million — just below its $1.89 million asking price — the same year she got married to British-born financier Christopher O’Neil.

She now lives in London with her prince and their two kids, Princess Leonore and Prince Nicolas.

When her civilian-born hubby came under fire for missing royal engagements, like his father-in-law’s birthday party, he reportedly said, “I have to look after my family and put food on the table. My job doesn’t allow me to decide if I can attend an official engagement one month before it happens. I have my business and I work hard for it, and sometimes a client meeting conflicts with a royal engagement.”

The princess’ old apartment features white oak herringbone hardwood floors and ceilings nearly 10 feet high. The front door opens to an entryway with a custom closet and white marble flooring. The chef’s kitchen has marble counters, Gaggenau appliances and a Sub-Zero refrigerator.

Building amenities include a 24-hour doorman and concierge service, refrigerated storage, a bike room, library, wine cellar with private wine storage, gym and a landscaped roof terrace with an open-air fireplace.

The listing brokers were Fredrik Eklund (a fellow Swede!) and John Gomes, of Douglas Elliman.
