Brad Hoylman gets email saying his family will be ‘burned alive’

A Manhattan lawmaker who has been hit with death threats in recent weeks received another hateful missive Tuesday stating he and his family will be “burned alive,” police sources said.

State Sen. Brad Hoylman called police upon receiving the email around 7 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators are working to track down the person who sent it, sources said.

Hoylman, who is openly gay and has expressed that he intends to convert to Judaism, has received several anti-Semitic threats.

Last week, he found an anti-Israeli pamphlet with pictures of flames, human sacrifices and Bible quotes in his mailbox, according to police sources.

Prior to that, a swastika was carved into the door of an elevator inside his apartment building.

Hoylman blamed the incident on president-elect Donald Trump choosing Stephen Bannon, the alt-right media executive, as his top adviser.
