A 43-year-old woman was fatally struck by a school bus in the Bronx Friday afternoon, cops said.
Carmen Puello, of University Heights, was crossing the street near the corner of West Fordham Road and Sedgwick Avenue by her home when the yellow school bus mowed her down at 12:25 p.m.
She was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said.
There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash and the driver stayed at the scene.
