Clown crisis goes global as ‘Killer Ronald’ pops up in England

Diners are not lovin’ this Ronald McDonald, who was caught creeping out customers outside one of the burger chain’s restaurants in England.

Viral video uploaded to the Burnley Clown Sightings Facebook page shows the scary bozo — dressed in a red-stained yellow jumpsuit, red striped shirt and a red-haired face mask — slowly walking up to the window of a McDonald’s in Ewood and peering in at customers eating.

The appearance of “Killer Ronald” comes as McDonald’s decided to limit its friendly mascot’s community appearances amid the clown craze sweeping the globe.

The chain said Tuesday it is “being thoughtful in respect to Ronald McDonald’s participation in community events for the time being.”

Meanwhile, back in the US, the Dartmouth, Mass., police department released a public service announcement detailing its “zero-tolerance stance on the recent clown craze plaguing the nation.”

Cops shared a parody video of them tracking down a clown pretending to scare little kids.

When the cop tracks down the red-nosed perp, the clown goads the officer and calls him a “tough guy.”

About a dozen cops then pour out of the cop car and the officer says, “Not what I’m going to do. What we’re going to do.”

The video ends with a message from the department urging people to avoid taking part in the worldwide prank, which could lead to arrest.

“Remember, if you want to act like a clown, we have no problem treating you like one,” police spokesman Kyle Costa said.
