Cops nab two people with loaded pistols at LaGuardia

Two people were busted at LaGuardia Airport this week after Port Authority cops found them in possession of loaded pistols, officials said.

On Tuesday around 9:15 a.m., cops arrested Creighton D. Johnson, 33, of Ohio, who was found in possession of two semi-automatic pistols – a .40 caliber Glock and a Smith and Wesson M&P pistol — near the Delta counter in Terminal C. He also had two magazines containing 23 rounds of ammunition, Port Authority police said.

He was charged with criminal possession of weapons, according to police.

A day earlier, Port Authority cops responded to a report of a man in possession of a loaded pistol in the Terminal B departures screening area.

Cops found a loaded handgun inside a black pouch in the man’s checked luggage.

Rodney Dunlap, 39, from Texas, who admitted to owning the pistol, was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, according to police.
