Virtually all of the contributions made by Donald Trump’s foundation reportedly came from other charities — with The Donald just passing the money along.
In one case cited by the Washington Post, the Trump Foundation six years ago got $150,000 from a New Jersey nonprofit.
The foundation later gave the same amount to the Palm Beach, Fla., Police Foundation.
Trump even came out ahead, the report said.
In 2014, the police foundation rented space at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club for $276,463 — for an event honoring Trump’s philanthropy.
