Mother Teresa canonization to be attended by thousands

More than 300,000 people are expected to arrive in St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City this weekend to witness the canonization of Mother Teresa.

During the Mass, Pope Francis will write the Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta’s name in the Book of Saints, a biography of her life will be read, and prayers and the Litany of Saints will follow. Pope Francis will then read the Formula of Canonization in Latin, and end with the trinitarian blessing.
