The United States has a surprising fan rooting in its corner: Vladimir Putin.
“America is a great power — today probably the only superpower. We accept that,” Putin said at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg on Saturday, according to Reuters.
Of course, that doesn’t mean he feels the same way about all Americans.
When asked about a compliment he supposedly paid to Donald Trump, Putin claimed that he only called Trump “flamboyant.”
