Rikers inmate sues to get his nose fixed after attack

A Staten Island felon’s nose is permanently out of joint because the city failed to fix his schnoz correctly following a Rikers Island attack, according to a lawsuit.

Nicholas Improta says another inmate “stabbed him in the side of the nose with a sharp instrument” and he didn’t get proper treatment, according to Manhattan federal court papers.

He now needs surgery, according to the suit.
