Brother and sister shot in The Bronx

Two teenage siblings were shot in The Bronx on Sunday morning — apparent innocent victims of a dispute over money.

“It’s the worst Father’s Day I ever had,” the pair’s distressed dad, James Milton, told The Post at Lincoln Hospital.

Milton, 51, was celebrating one of his grandkids’ birthdays late Saturday with his 10 children on East 176th Street when he heard gunfire go off just after midnight.

His daughter, Tocarra, 17, was hit in the right leg, and his son, Tyreke, 16, was shot in the stomach.

Tocarra was released Sunday afternoon, but Tyreke is still in the hospital recovering from two surgeries on his stomach.

“He’s in a lot of pain,” Milton said.

He insists that his kids stay out of trouble, noting that his son is on the honor roll at his high school and the siblings weren’t the intended targets.

Police are investigating a possible dispute over money as the spark for the early-morning violence and confirmed that the Milton teens didn’t appear to be the targets.
