The NBA announced Sunday that Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green will be suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals for an accumulation of flagrant fouls. The NBA assessed Green a flagrant 1 foul for his shot to the groin of LeBron James (who was assessed a technical foul). Green and James were called for regular fouls during the game.
This isn’t the first time Green’s appeared to deliver a low blow to an opponent. Green controversially avoided a suspension in the Western Conference Finals after he kicked Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams in the groin.
NBA players had varied reactions to the NBA’s ruling, which will have a huge impact on Game 5 in Oakland.
