Curt Schilling spends day arguing guns after Orlando massacre

Reports were still developing early Sunday morning, with the haze still not cleared up from the hideous scene at an Orlando nightclub, where at least 50 people were killed by a gunman.

That’s when Curt Schilling sprung to a preemptive defense, sensing “liberals” would soon begin spinning a story he felt he knew best.

The baseball great who became an ESPN analyst with a meme-sharing problem is now an unemployed conservative who really likes Twitter. And with a fight he felt coming to him, the outspoken Schilling took on all challengers, predicting how the story would unfold.

The alleged shooter, Omar Seddique Mateen, was born in New York, and his father told NBC News the shooting had “nothing to do with religion,” insisting his troubled son was homophobic and set off after seeing two men kissing. As of right now, his religion and how the firearms were obtained remain unclear. His fourth prediction, however, Schilling was correct about, as he jabbed with people arguing for gun-control for much of Sunday.
