‘Porn’s New King’ gets bail revoked for ‘threatening’ drunk texts

Drunk texting just got “Porn’s New King” Jason Galanis tossed in jail pending trial.

Galanis — arrested last week over a $60 million scheme that ripped off a North Dakota Sioux tribe — had his bail in a separate $20 million pump-and-dump case revoked Tuesday by a Manhattan federal judge who ruled he represents a threat to the community.

Judge Kevin Castel ordered the 45-year old Californian to remain behind bars until his September pump-and-dump trial.

Castel based his ruling on Galanis’ recent arrest as well as a series of threatening texts he sent to a potential witness in the pump-and-dump case.

“Sleep tight and be worried,” Galanis texted the potential witness. “I’ll teach you a lesson little guy,” Galanis told the unidentified former pal.

“I’ll pay you back for being awful and disloyal to her,” he said, referring to his wife.

Galanis’ lawyer attributed the texts to Galanis hitting the bottle on a plane.

“A) He was drunk, and B) he was furious,” Marion Bachrach, told the judge, saying the dispute had to do with Galanis’ wife. “It’s unattractive, but it happens,” she said.

But the judge wasn’t buying it. “I didn’t fall off the pumpkin truck yesterday,” Castel stormed.

Forbes dubbed Galanis “Porn’s New King” after he made a splash in 2004 by buying the country’s largest processor of credit-card payments for pornographic Web sites.
