Man stabbed with broken bottle in Midtown

A 33-year-old man was slashed and stabbed with a broken bottle during a dispute with two people in Midtown early Saturday, cops said.

The victim was assaulted with the broken bottle on 9th Avenue and West 40th Street at around 4:30 a.m. during an argument with a man and woman, police said.

He was slashed in the face and arm and stabbed with the bottle in the left side of torso, cops said.

Police described the suspects as a man in his 20s who wore a green jacket and a woman in her 20s clad in a black shirt. They fled in a yellow cab.

The victim was treated for his non-life threatening injuries at Bellevue Hospital.
