An argument between two Bronx roommates turned deadly when one pulled a knife on the other, stabbing him to death early Tuesday, authorities said.
The victim, identified by sources as Eduardo Casique, 58, was drinking with Jose Torres, 51, inside their apartment on University Avenue near West Kingsbridge Road in Fordham Manor at around 1 a.m. when the two got into a dispute, police said.
The fight escalated when Torres, who is wanted by cops, allegedly picked up a knife and stabbed Casique numerous times about the body before fleeing the building, cops said.
Emergency responders rushed Casique to St. Barnabus Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Cops are still hunting Torres who they described as 5-foot-4 and 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and dark pants.
