Henrik Lundqvist practice peek-a-boo causes brief Rangers stir

The King is … under the weather.

Henrik Lundqvist created a panic among Rangers watchers when he missed portions of Monday’s practice, two days before the start of the team’s first-round playoff series with the Penguins.

The 34-year-old franchise netminder started practice on the ice, then exited, following by head coach Alain Vigneault. After some time, Lundqvist returned to stretch and take some shots. Then he left again, replaced in net by an equipment manager.

Vigneault later said Lundqvist wasn’t feeling well, alluding to some flu-like symptoms.

“He’ll be fine tomorrow,” Vigneault said, ending the scare.
